Special Assembly – World Aids Day

PCER > Celebrations > Special Assembly – World Aids Day

S.Y.B.Ed students of PCER, Chembur organized a special assembly celebrating one of the most important days – World Aids Day. The assembly consisted of prayer, thought for the day and role play. A powerful message was given by Ms. Asma Sarang through “the thought for the day,” wherein she explained that there is lack of knowledge about HIV & why it is important to spread awareness about the same. A group of students from S.Y.B.Ed performed a roleplay on this day to spread awareness about Aids. The roleplay highlighted some of the major issues revolving around aids. Through various acts & scenes, the students showed the orthodox mentality of people & how they are afraid to educate their own children about the causes & effects of aids & the regret they face in future when their child becomes a prey to HIV because of their carelessness.
