Alumni Meet

PCER Chembur organized the annual Alumni Meet on 23rd April 2022 from 2.00 -4.00 pm in the Multipurpose Hall, Chembur Campus. Due to the pandemic safety measures the meet was not conducted for the previous batch hence this year the Alumni Meet was conducted for the batches of 2018-20 and 2019-21.

Principal Dr. Reni Francis addressed the gathering and appreciated the achievements of the alumni and encouraged them to continue learning and growing in their fields. The alumni achievers were appreciated, and their efforts recognized by PCER through the Alumni Achievers Award that were presented to Ms. Aabha Bagaitkar, Ms. Shivani Mayekar and Ms. Priyanka Mohite as they continued successfully with their growth trajectory.

Annual Alumni Meet 2019

On Saturday, the 23rd February, PCER Chembur hosted the Annual Alumni Meet 2019. It was a day of felicitations and fun. The academic achievers from the batch of 2016-18 were felicitated for their outstanding academic achievement. They were:

After the achievers were felicitated, they shared their experiences with the audience and the current batch of students. The college also felicitated achievers from the earlier batches who have achieved some laurels in the current academic year.

The alumni meet culminated with a cultural programme and games organised by the students. The evening ended with a formal vote of thanks and singing of the National Anthem.

Alumni Meet 2017-18

The Alumni Association of PCER Chembur in collaboration with its alma mater organised the Annual Alumni Meet for the academic year 2017-18 on the 15th March, 2018. This is the occasion where the college and the association felicitate not only the previous year’s academic toppers but also the alumni for their various achievements in the previous academic year.

This year saw the achievers from the first batch of the two-year B.Ed. (Batch of 2015-17) being felicitated. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp and a welcome speech by our Principal Dr. Sunita Wadikar. The first round of felicitations were reserved for the toppers of the batch and thereafter, the alumni who have done us proud in the field of education in their professional as well as academic abilities were felicitated.

All the achievers addressed the gathering and spoke about their experience with the two-year B.Ed. They spoke of the challenges of being the pioneer batch and emphasised how basic values such as hard work, commitment, a belief and trust in their teachers and in themselves carried them through.

The programme ended with a show of cultural programme by the current batch of students.

Alumni Meet was scheduled on 15th March, 2018 at Chembur Campus. Registration is from 3.00 – 3.30 p.m. followed by a Cultural Programme and Convocation Ceremony.
