On 22nd October 2024, PCER (Autonomous), Chembur, in association with the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE), organized an awareness session under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) initiative. Officers from the Election Commission addressed first-time voters, highlighting the importance of active participation in democracy and the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections. Students received guidance on voter registration and the critical role educators play in spreading awareness. The session concluded with an oath to uphold voting rights. It empowered students with knowledge and a sense of civic responsibility, inspiring them to promote electoral participation in their communities.
