As part of Earth Day celebrations, on 22nd April, 2025 Pillai College of Education and Research, Chembur, organized the Eco-Art: Trash to Treasure Challenge, encouraging students to creatively repurpose waste materials into useful or decorative items. Participants crafted innovative products using recyclable materials such as plastic bottles, newspapers, cardboard, and cloth scraps. The activity aimed to promote sustainability and environmental awareness through hands-on creativity. Students shared photos of their final creations, and some even submitted engaging time-lapse videos showcasing their process. The event successfully highlighted how art and environmental consciousness can go hand in hand in building a greener future. Let’s continue to cherish and protect our one and only Earth – not just on Earth Day, but every day.
