On 24th January 2025, PCER (Autonomous), Chembur, in collaboration with the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE), organized National Girl Child Day. The event began with a meaningful assembly featuring a prayer, thought of the day, and a discussion on Sustainable Development Goal 5 Gender Equality, linking it to the importance of empowering the girl child. Students spoke on the significance of National Girl Child Day. A highlight was students dressed as national leaders Rabindranath Tagore, Sarojini Naidu, and Savitribai Phule delivering inspiring speeches. The event concluded with patriotic songs and an insightful address by Principal Dr. Reni Francis.
