On 8th November 2025, MES’s Pillai College of Education and Research organized an orientation for the First Term Training Programme for F.Y.B.Ed. students under the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE). The session was conducted by Dr. Vithoba Sawant, DLLE- Teacher, who explained the objectives and significance of the programme with special emphasis on the Environmental Education Programme.
He highlighted various DLLE activities and informed students about the academic benefits of the programme, including credits and marks. Students were also oriented about the Environmental Education survey to be conducted in the nearby college area. The orientation motivated students to actively participate in community service and experiential learning, thereby strengthening their social and environmental responsibility.
