MES’s Pillai College of Education and Research (Autonomous), Chembur, in collaboration with the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE), organized an Expert Talk on Voting Awareness on 10th January 2026.
The session was conducted by Ms. Brinda Ganesh from the Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness (CMCA), who emphasized the importance of voting, responsible citizenship, and active participation in democracy. The talk was engaging and interactive, featuring discussions, visual charts, activities, and a rapid Q&A session that encouraged active student involvement
Students gained valuable insights into civic responsibilities, democratic values, and the role of informed citizens in strengthening democracy. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
