A session to enhance student teachers’ awareness of the different school boards was conducted on 19th November 2025. The resource person for the session was Dr. Farah Shaikh, PCER Chembur alumna and IB Physics teacher, Dr. Pillai Global Academy, Gorai. The session aimed to develop understanding of the variety of school boards functioning in India and globally, along with their curriculum design, pedagogical approaches, and learning outcomes. Dr Farah provided a detailed explanation of different boards such as SSC, ICSE, CBSE, IB, and IGCSE and a comparative understanding of their curriculum structure, content depth and assessment patterns.
