On 5th December 2024, PCER (Autonomous), Chembur, in collaboration with the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE), organized an expert talk on World AIDS Day themed “Take the Right Path: My Health, My Right.” The session was conducted by Ms. Savita Kurade, Senior Program Manager at Prince Aly Khan Hospital. She addressed the causes, transmission, prevention, and treatment of HIV/AIDS, highlighting the vulnerability of the 15–49 age group. She emphasized early diagnosis, ART, and the importance of awareness. Myths were debunked, and government initiatives for free testing and treatment were discussed. The session ended with a Q & A, empowering future educators.
