MES’s Pillai College of Education and Research (Autonomous), Chembur, in collaboration with the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE), organized an educational visit to the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education on the occasion of National Science Day.
The visit provided hands-on learning through sessions on Microorganisms and Artificial Intelligence. Students observed microorganisms under microscopes and explored AI concepts through interactive activities, including IoT demonstrations. A session on the universe explained astronomical distances using models. Activities like the AR Sandbox showcased changing landforms, while composting highlighted sustainability. Students also observed flame tests, biological specimens, and animal skeletons.
The visit concluded with a water filtration model demonstration. Overall, it was an informative and engaging experience, enhancing scientific understanding.
