To commemorate World Mental Health Day, SIBC conducted an awareness session with teacher trainee students on mental well-being. This session was facilitated by Ms. Swati Thoda, a Clinical Dietician – Pregnancy and Lactation Wellness, heartfulness meditation trainer. in her session she discussed the importance of mental wellbeing and the need to remain calm and composed in our life. She further highlighted the importance of balanced diet in our daily life. Connecting with Gandhiji’s principles, she spoke the relevance of nonviolence and self-resilience to remain peaceful as well as successful in life. The session ended with practicing five minutes silence and concentration to develop mindfulness among the audience.
