PCER Chembur in association with the Stree Mukti Sanghatana organised two days Premarital Workshop on 13th and 16th January, 2023. On 13th Ms. Sangeeta Saraf an ardent teacher and member of the Stree Mukti Sanghatana conducted session on Gender Equality and Selection of Partner. She started the session with the introduction of the Stree Mukti Sangathana. In which areas the Sangathan works and explained students how to choose a life partner and discussed the desirable qualities in a girl as well as a boy for a marriage. She spoke on sex education, female foeticides, women in sports and a crucial topic of rape. She also discussed the women’s position in a joint and nuclear family.
Mr. Chandrakant Sarvagod a writer, activist and member of the Stree Mukti Sanghatana conducted a session on Marital Adjustment and Sexuality on 16th January, 2023. He discussed on post marital problems and the myths and misconceptions circulated and even accepted regarding the reproductive system and the related issues which are not addressed.
