Report: The Online International Conference on Transforming Education in India: Challenges, Innovations, and Future Directions was organized by IQAC Of MES’s Pillai College of Education & Research, Chembur, in collaboration with the Department of Lifelong Learning, Alagappa University. The sub themes of this conference were Access and Equity in Education; Quality of Education; Innovative Teaching and Learning Practices; Higher Education and Research; Teacher Education and Professional Development; Education Policy and Governance; Technology and Education and Student Wellbeing and Holistic Development. The guest speakers from Nepal, Dr. Pramila Thappa, Former Registrar, Purbanchal University, Nepal.and Mr. Nihal Dahal, Professor in Kathmandu University School of Education in Nepal shared their work on Digital Distractions and Technology in Education respectively. They gave very valuable insights and how we can work around and leverage technology to ensure quality education as we step into the future. The presenters covered the range of the sub themes and ensured an interesting and insightful conference.
