This year PCER, Chembur commemorated the National Youth Day with a Quiz as well as a talk by an eminent monk from the Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai.
The quiz was created via Google Form in order to assess the knowledge of the students of Chembur English High School (CEHS) and the teacher-trainees of PCER, Chembur. Questions were asked from the life of Swami Vivekananda and the participants were also provided with fun-facts from Swamiji’s life.
To impart more knowledge about the relevance of Swami Vivekananda to the youth of the nation, PCER Chembur was fortunate to be in conversation with Swami Devakantyananda from Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai who spoke to us about Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy on Education, Teachers and Youth. This conversation took place on the 14th January, 2021 and was streamed live over PCER, Chembur’s Youtube channel.
Swami Devakantyananda reinterpreted Swami Vivekananda’s views on education and reiterated how these can be used by a modern teacher to inspire the youth of today.
