On 15th August, 2022, Mahatma Education Society celebrated Independence Day in the Chembur Campus. The program started at 7:45 a.m. with Flag Hoisting was done by the Chief Guests Dr. Harsh Shukla, Assistant Professor from Mahathma Night Degree College and Mrs. Preeti Pawar – Principal of Chembur English High School followed by the National Anthem. F.Y. B.Ed. Batch 2021-2023 students Neha and Nishtha were the hosts for the event. The students of Chembur English High School sang a patriotic song (Jhanda uncha rahe hamara). Mahatma Night Degree College students performed the NCC Parade. Santosh Sutar of PCER sang a solo patriotic song ‘Ye Watan Tere Liye’. The event was beautifully planned and executed by the Heads of all the MES institutions of Chembur Campus.
