On 1st May, 2023, Pillai College of Education and Research organized a special session for World Day for Safety and Health at Work. Dr. Sandhya Khedekar, Principal of Gokhale Education Society’s College of Education, was the guest speaker. The session focused on women’s safety and health, addressing the physical, mental, and emotional impact of the workplace. Dr. Khedekar highlighted women’s progress in India, discussed safety concerns, and shared self-defense tips. The session emphasized the importance of promoting women’s participation and concluded with a discussion on the impact of self-defense training programs.
