The Diwali celebration 2019 was organized by the Student Council of PCER on the 24th October, 2019 in the Multipurpose Hall at 2 p.m.
The first year students hosted the programme. The student teachers presented meaningful songs and skit with respect to eco-friendly Diwali followed by entertaining games for the students as well as teachers.
Our Principal spoke about the significance of light and how good triumphs over evil.
Everybody was set in festive mood as they all came together to dance and feast together.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal and the special guests. The prayer song rendered by the students built the spiritual aura necessary for the programme. With the blessings of the Almighty the programme continued with students highlighting the need for aeco friendly Diwali which was depicted through a skit. The diya dance and the Bollywood beat group dance regaled the audience. The speech on the significance of Diwali and the Principal message highlighted the need to have a safe and pollution free Diwali and that Diwali is a festival of lights and not sound.
JAM (Just a minute) session organized by the Sports Club enthralled the audience as no student was left behind. Every student enjoyed participating in the amusing JAM games and the hall was filled with joy and happiness as the prizes were given away.
The prize winners of the various competition held in the semester were awarded Certificates of Merit and participants were awarded Participating certificates.
The programme was well appreciated and the teachers and students were thanked and appreciated for making this programme a grand one.
