On 13th September, 2019, Ganpati Visarjan, there was a beach cleanup drive conducted by DNA ECO GANESHA. The Principal of Pillai College of Education and Research Chembur (B.Ed. section), Dr. Reni Francis was present at this event along with few of her students. Substances from the rituals of Visarjan, tons of plastics, parts of the Ganesha idol were seen lying around in vain. Actor Mr. Nandish Sandhu was also a part of the cleanup drive, helping with the cleaning , interacting ,and motivating others. Just the way every drop makes an ocean similarly every individual’s contribution towards the environment makes a difference.
