MES’s Pillai College of Education and Research, Chembur encountered a joyous end to the year 2022 as the S. Y. B. Ed students organized a Special Assembly to celebrate Christmas and New Year on campus. The entire classroom was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations, lights, posters, and models. This event was graced by respected Principal of PCER Chembur, Dr. Reni Francis along with the teaching and non-teaching staff. The assembly started with a prayer followed by an interesting skit on the ‘The birth of Jesus Christ.’ The sounds of carols filled the air with the festive atmosphere. PCER’s talent and confidence was shining brightly as the students took the stage with their dance performance. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the students through secret santa where students exchanged the gifts with one another. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed playing games and sharing their respective new year’s resolutions. Dr. Reni Francis, Principal PCER Chembur addressed the students with a message to spread the essence of Christmas with love and joy of giving. The children carried home the message of sharing and caring as well as the pleasure and pride of spreading peace, true to the spirit of the celebration.
