The Student Council of PCER organized an online programme celebrating Christmas and New Year on 7th January 2021, via google meet from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. The meeting was hosted by Ms. Daisya and Ms. Subbulakshmi who smoothly conducted the entire programme. The programme commenced with a prayer by Ms. Disha invoking the Almighty for hope and stronger faith. The spirit of Christmas was brought forth beautifully through the singing of Christmas carols by Ms. Sherry, Ms. Sherin, Ms. Charmine, Ms. Sidra, Ms. Ayesha and Ms. Darshini. The story of the birth of Jesus Christ was presented by Ms. Juliet through an animated video that reminded everyone of the message of hope, love and faith. This was followed by a video presentation of PCER students which reflected a lot of positivity and motivation as they shared their experiences, learnings from the past year and new resolutions for the new year. There was also a video compilation encompassing all the milestones of PCER in the past year that reminded everyone of the accomplishments achieved by the institution even during difficult times.
Principal, Dr. Reni Francis through the message of RENEW alluded to the elements of the digital world that has become a strong part of our lives during this pandemic time. The programme concluded with Student Council GS Ms. Sherry presenting the vote of thanks.
