MES’s PCER (Autonomous), Chembur, continually strives to nurture a culture of gratitude and appreciation among its students. As part of this initiative, students celebrated Raksha Bandhan (28th August) by tying rakhis to people who contribute to our safety, well-being and everyday lives in their own ways. Police officers, doctors, vegetable vendors, security guards, delivery personnel and other unsung heroes were honoured with rakhis and heartfelt words of appreciation. The initiative beautifully conveyed the message that protection comes in many forms, and every person who cares for and supports us deserves to be valued and thanked.
