An Anaemia Awareness and Free Haemoglobin Screening Camp was organized on 14th July 2026 at Pillai College of Education and Research (Autonomous), Chembur in collaboration with Soroptimist International Bombay, Chembur (SIBC) and Citizens Association for Child Rights (CACR), Mumbai. A total of 135 participants, including students, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff, attended the camp. Free haemoglobin screening was conducted, and participants with low haemoglobin levels received iron tablets for three months along with guidance on balanced nutrition, anaemia prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices. The programme successfully promoted health awareness and encouraged preventive healthcare.
