- Dr. Reni Francis was honoured with the Best Presentation Award at the National Seminar on “Integrating Life Skills into Curriculum: Best Practices under NEP 2020.”
The seminar was organized by R. R. Educational Trust’s B.Ed. College and sponsored by the Western Regional Centre (WRC), ICSSR, Mumbai. - Dr. Reni Francis received the award for "Best Promotion of Cultural Activities Maharashtra - Chembur" at India’s Best and Only Expo on Education Supply and Franchises on 12th December 2025.
- Dr. Reni Francis has been appointed as the Convenor for B.Ed syllabus revision at the University of Mumbai.
- Dr. Reni Francis Published her Book ‘Marketing Made Meaningful-Essentials for Business Education’ with Notion Press.
- On 5th June 2025, Dr. Reni Francis conducted a session for the teachers at MES’s HOCL School, Rasayani on the topic ‘Teacher’s Role in Classroom’
- On 10th June 2025 and 12th June 2025, Dr. Reni Francis conducted the Faculty Development Program for teachers of Mumbai Pradesh Arya Vidya Sabha’s Gurukul Educational Institutions on the topics of Transforming Evaluations using Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy and Teaching 360 Degree
- Dr. Reni was also the Resource Person for the 3rd Online Faculty Induction Programme [FIP]—GURU-DAKSHTA, organised by MMTTC-SRCC under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), Ministry of Education, Government of India. She took a session on Academic Integrity on 24th June, 2025
- Dr. Reni Francis was appointed as a Course Writer for the Self Learning Material (SLM) in the Course-VI "Research Methodology in Education" (English Version) for M.A. in Education, Semester I (NEP-2020) under the University of Mumbai's Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE).
- Dr. Reni Francis was a Resource Person at the Faculty Induction Programme organized by MMTTC-SRCC under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), Ministry of Education, Government of India.
- Dr. Reni Francis was invited as a Resource Person for the National Level Workshop on Research Methodology, organized by H.B.B. Ed College, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, in collaboration with ICSSR-WRC, Mumbai.
- Dr. Reni Francis was honoured to be part of the Panel Discussion at the ICSSR-sponsored International Seminar on “Strategies for Transforming India through Internationalization of Education” organized by SNDT – PVDT College of Education, Mumbai.
- Dr.Reni Francis has been selected as a Mentor for the National Mentoring Mission initiated by National Council for Teacher Education.
Dr. Vithoba Sawant
- Dr. Vithoba Sawant participated and presented a paper titled “Artificial Intelligence and Empowerment” at a one-day National Seminar organized by H.B. B.Ed. College, Vashi, on 7th March 2026.
- Dr. Vithoba Sawant participated in the DLLE – Second Term Training Programme, organized by the University of Mumbai, on 3rd December 2025, at R.A. Podar College of Commerce, Matunga.
- Dr. Vithoba Sawant was invited as a judge for the 2025 Science Exhibition organized by Bruhan Mumbai (BMC) ‘S’ Ward at Cosmos School, Bhandup on 10th December 2025.
- The DLLE-University of Mumbai invited Dr. Vithoba Sawant to serve as a Judge for the Street Play competition at the DLLE- UDAAN-The Flight of Extension: 2026. The event was held on 20th January 2026 at Sheth NKTT College of Commerce , Thane (W).
- Dr. Vithoba Sawant, as the Field Coordinator, conducted the First Term Training Programme Orientation assigned by the University of Mumbai, Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE), in the Dombivli and Kalva areas.
Dr. Vithoba Sawant was invited as a resource person for the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) First Term Training Programme at Bhavana Trust College on 2nd August, 2025.- Dr. Vithoba Sawant was invited as a resource person for a one-day workshop on ‘Research Methodology,’ organized by Government College of Education, Panvel, in collaboration with Chembur Sarvankash Shikshanshastra Mahavidyalaya, Chembur, on 10th August, 2025.
- Dr. Vithoba Sawant participated in the Online Two-Day International Conference on ‘Environmental Management for Leveraging SDGs and Sustainable Development’, conducted by H. J. College of Education on 11th and 12th September, 2025.
- Dr. Vithoba Sawant, Invited as External Examiner for VIVA-VOCE of DSM (P10) on 18th April, on behalf of DEGT’s Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) study Centre, Thane.
Ms. Surekha Chidambarnath
- Ms. Surekha Chidambaranath completed a certificate course on “Prompt Engineering for Educators”
- Ms. Surekha Chidambaranath presented at the MES Research Forum on the topic Building Minds That Question: Teachers as Architects of Building Scientific Temper in the Classroom. Her presentation emphasised how classroom practices can actively promote scientific temper and encourage learners to question, explore, and think independently.
- Ms. Surekha Chidambaranath was invited as a judge for the Teaching Aid Competition organised by Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training held on 8th November 2025 at AFAC English High School and Junior College, Chembur, Mumbai.
- Ms. Surekha Chidambaranath participated in the three-day International Seminar organised in connection with National Education Day 2025, held in hybrid mode from 11 to 13 November. She presented her research paper titled Teachers’ Perspectives on the Use of Self-Regulated Learning Strategies at the Secondary Level, where she shared key insights drawn from her study. Her presentation earned her the Best Presentation Award at the seminar.
- Ms. Surekha completed her Global Career Counselling Programme by University of California Los Angeles Extension.
- Ms. Surekha Chidambaranath participated in the online training on the topic “Personalizing Teaching and Learning with Gemini” conducted on October 28, 2025 as a part of ‘Learning with Google Champions Series’.
- Ms. Surekha Chidambaranath completed her Google Certified Educator Level 1 Certification.
- Ms. Surekha Chidambaranath completed a Online Course on Positive Psychology on Coursera
