Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.

MES’s Pillai College of Education and Research is an ecologically conscious organization and has always focused on doing small things towards maintaining a healthy environment. PCER, Chembur celebrated World Environment Day 4th June, 2022 with the theme “Conserve Indian native flora and fauna”. Our chief guests for the day were Dr. R. K. Singh, Former Head, Media Relations & Public Awareness Section, BARC and Former Secretary, Indian Nuclear Society, Ms. Namrata Saxena, President of Soroptimist International Bombay Chembur, Assistant professor at PCER, Panvel and Early Years Program Head of MES and Mr. Tushar Navdharey, Development Officer, LIC Chembur Branch. The chief Guests gave our students plants and they also planted some plants in the Chembur Campus. Under the initiative “Conserve Indian native flora and fauna”, PCER, Chembur will be planting 500 plants in the Tribal area of Dindori and Peth Taluka of Nashik district, Maharashtra and 500 plants in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai residential areas. PCER, Chembur as a college, the staff and students took the Mazi Vasundhara pledge. We hope our humble efforts will make a difference in the society.
