A Special Assembly was conducted on 13th January, 2020 by the S.Y. B.Ed. students. The festivals that was highlighted were Pongal, Lohri & Makar Sankranti. The assembly started by a welcome speech to the principal and staff followed by a prayer song. A skit was put up which highlighted on the importance, traditions and food of each festival, the participants were – Ananthi, Sweety, Rumana Shaikh, Sudha Priya, Liza Dsouza, Sabina Rose, Nadar Neetyanadi, Divya Dange, Shivam Singh, Esairaja (picture from left to right). The skit was stupendous. The participants bought the traditional festive food and sweets like Til Laddoos, Payasam, Parathas etc. and it was distributed in the class. Our Principal Madam gave a note on the celebration of these festivals which emphasized on the spirit of humanity, integrity and brotherhood and also aroused the feeling of being an INDIAN first. Later our GS-Sudha Priya gave a vote of thanks. The Assembly ended with a a true note on the theme of SPIRITUALITY & TOGETHERNESS.
