Session on “Introduction to Disability and Inclusion” was conducted on 30th January, 2020. It was an effort initiated by PCER Chembur in addressing the need for Creating an Inclusive School (SEM IV).The session included the difference between visible and invisible disability followed by few interactive discussion on few questions raised on disability. An activity was conducted which actually highlighted on how a child with disability actually faces problem in a normal classroom if utmost care is not taken. For this activity few student came up and were asked to display a normal classroom including a student with disability. Later, based on the activity discussions took place. By the end of the session a feedback form was given . PCER expressed heartfelt gratitude to Soroptimist International Bombay, Chembur for collaborating in this initiative & a huge thankyou to our speakers, Ms . Bhavan & Ms. Leela for a great interactive session.
