Doctors have always been an essential part of the society and today’s times has brought to the forefront, importance of doctors and other healthcare workers. In India, the 1st July, which is the birth as well as the death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, a freedom fighter, an eminent doctor as well as an iconic leader who also held the position of Chief Minister of West Bengal, is celebrated as National Doctors’ Day.

This year PCER Chembur celebrated National Doctor’s Day through an online quiz. The quiz was organized by the CCA department through a Google Form and was distributed via Whatsapp. The Google Form consisted of 15 multiple-choice questions based on the medical history in India. A Certificate of Participation was given to each participant.

The quiz received an enthusiastic response and 196 students had responsed before the quiz was closed the next morning.

This activity was in line with SDG # 3: Good Health and Well Being.
